A Weekend at Jenolan Caves

Hi there,

Last weekend we had a fabulous weekend at Jenolan Caves. We stayed at The Mountain Lodge which is behind the lovely Caves House. We did enjoy dinner at Chisholm,s Restaurant, located in the Caves House Hotel. A bit of a tourist trap, but the guided cave tours are something special.

Inside the caves are Calcium Carbonate crystals which have taken eons of years to get to the size they are now. They have been given special names and are quite amazing.

Hi there,

Coming to you from a wintery day in Sydney. The maples have nearly lost all of their leaves.

Time for hot chocolate and trips to the ski fields (if you can find the time). Lazing in front of the fire, reading a good book.
